3. Operation : 3.1 Clean the apparatus, 3.2 Prepare sample, 3.3 Weight sample, usually need 5g., 3.4 Fill sample into sample vessel and make them to the bottom, then put the vessel level.
3.5 Put the same weight moisture retentive chemicals outside the mouth of apparatus, notice do not make testing sample touch with moisture retentive chemicals before close apparatus.
3.6 Close apparatus, 3.7 Mix testing sample and moisture retentive chemicals for one to two minutes, 3.8 Read data, when pressure point needle do not move, see pressure meter level, read pressure value and write down. Data précised to 0.0005Mpa., 3.9 Pressure release and clean apparatus, 3.10 Count or table search.
4. Use mean arithmetical value of two pressure test value, count out moisture content by the following formula. Or can look down from table search (pressure-moisture content) Wet=185.73P-0.17
