Slurry Testing Apparatus, Civil Laboratory in Bangladesh

1 General Requirement: The Slurry testing equipment needs to be used to test viscosity, density and presence of sand content in the drilling fluid, which is usually used for cast-in-situ piling.
All the parts, components, accessories, fittings of the equipment shall be brand new and of current production and shall be factory in built. The manufacturing year of the equipment shall not before 2021.
2 Compliance: The apparatus should comply ASTM (D 4380, D 4381, D 6910) Standards.
3 Brand: Worldwide reputed brand.
4 Model: To be mentioned by the bidder (supported by original catalogue).
5 Country of Origin : The Country of origin having HDI minimum 0.85 according to United Nations HDI latest list.
6 Country of Manufacturing :The manufacturing country having HDI minimum 0.85 according to United Nations HDI latest list.
7 Country of Shipment :Shipment country shall be of same as country of origin.
8 Marsh Funnel and Viscosity Cup: Funnel Cone will be a length of 305mm (12 in) and a diameter of 152mm (6 in) equipped with a screen at top and an orifice tube at bottom.
The capacity of the cone from the orifice opening to the bottom of the screen shall be 1500mL.
The cone may be manufactured from plastic, metal or other durable material and shall be provided with a handle.
Funnel Orifice tube of 51mm (2 in) in length with an inside diameter of 4.75mm (3/16mm).
Screen openings of approximately 3.2mm (0.125in). The screen will be placed at the 1500mL level of the funnel and approximately 19mm (0.75in) below the top of the funnel.
A 1 liter Graduated cup of metal or plastic with a 946mL marking.
A stopwatch with a resolution of 0.5 s.
9 Mud Balance: The mud balance consists of a mud cup attached to one end of a beam which is balanced on the other end by a fixed counterweight and a rider free to move along a graduated scale. A level bubble is mounted on the beam. Attachments for extending the range of the balance may be used.
Scale readings will be in pounds per gallon (lb/gal), specific gravity (gms/m3) and pounds per cubic foot (ib/cu.ft).
10 Sand Content Set: Sieve no 200, mesh (75µm), 50mm (2 in) in diameter.

Glass measuring tube should be marked from 0 to 20% by volume.
11 Manual To be supplied with original manufacturer’s operating instruction and certificates.
12 Fluid Sampler: The device should be designed in such a way, which can allow the user to obtain a sample at any of his desired depth of the excavation.
13 Carrying case: The slurry testing set should be supplied in convenient carrying case. The carrying case should hard, sturdy plastic and has foam inside having designed in such a way to prevent breakage of Sand Content Kit.
14 Accessories: All the accessories related to the operation of the above mentioned Apparatus.
