2. 🔹 সংক্ষিপ্ত পরিচিতি: Ion Exchange Resin একটি বিশেষ ধরনের পলিমারিক পদার্থ, যা দ্রবণে থাকা অপ্রয়োজনীয় আয়ন (ions) কে শোষণ করে এবং তার পরিবর্তে প্রয়োজনীয় আয়ন সরবরাহ করে। এটি মূলত জল পরিশোধন (Water Treatment) প্রক্রিয়ায় ব্যবহৃত হয়।

⚙️ কাজের মূলনীতি (Working Principle):

এটি “Ion Exchange” নামে পরিচিত একটি রাসায়নিক প্রক্রিয়া।
👉 রেজিনের মধ্যে স্থির থাকে চার্জযুক্ত আয়ন।
👉 যখন পানি এর মধ্য দিয়ে যায়, তখন রেজিন অপ্রয়োজনীয় আয়ন কে ধরে ফেলে এবং অন্য আয়ন ছেড়ে দেয়।
👉 ফলস্বরূপ, পানির অবাঞ্ছিত আয়নগুলো (যেমন: ক্যালসিয়াম, ম্যাগনেশিয়াম, আয়রন ইত্যাদি) দূর হয়ে যায়।

🧪 দুই ধরনের প্রধান Resin:
